Jon Morris, Project Leader of the JDQ 3Spheres™ Robotics project, will share his vision of the Quality Department of the future and the growing role of Collaborative Service Robots in quality assurance and control. Using today’s latest computer vision, speech recognition and autonomous navigation robotics innovations, Jon will demonstrate how effectively and quickly collaborative service robots could become a Quality Manager’s best friend – at least until it takes your job.

Jon Morris is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, with over 20 years of experience in custom software development and quality assurance. Jon has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business. Jon’s experience extends from the implementation of formal quality systems for ISO 9001 registration, through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methods, to software application and robotics design to support continual improvement efforts. As a principal of JDQ Systems Inc. in Vancouver, Canada, Jon continues to consult on strategic improvement initiatives while providing leadership to the JDQ robotics team based on quality principles.
